One can take a deep dive into the transformative world of Therapeutic power of healing sounds at the picturesque ‘Zorba The Buddha’ on October 19-20. Join Arjun Arora and Sanj Hall for an enriching two-day workshop where you’ll may discover and uncover many layers and dimensions of sonic energy.

This workshop blends scientific insights on sound, psychoacoustics and bioacoustics with the artistic and therapeutic use of sound for alignment and balance. Explore the potential of various instruments—singing bowls, gongs, hand pans, tuning forks, shakers, rattles, and drums—and learn to harness their therapeutic benefits for individuals and groups alike.

Whilst mastery may need years of work, however, this 2 day masterclass will equally appeal to a seasoned practitioner and as much to those new to sound therapy, this workshop invites individuals from all backgrounds to deepen their understanding and experience the profound effects of sound healing.

  • A few techniques of mallet holding and using gongs on stand

About the Teachers

Arjun Arora

Driven by his endless curiosity for a better understanding of the Self, Arjun has been on journeys across India and the world, learning from philosophies, meditation, yoga, psychology, music and various holistic wellness modalities. Arjun founded Sarveda as an earnest attempt to align his passion for creativity and well-being with making a positive impact and changing the world for the better.

He is a percussionist, guitarist, sound producer and a sound therapist with a keen interest to use music as a force to help people connect with themselves and others. His other interests lie in integrating the broad vision of the philosophies of the East with the pragmatic psychology of the West.  Arjun is an engineering graduate from IIT Madras.

Sanj Hall

Sanj Hall, known as the Travelling Gong Yogi, is a renowned sound artist, meditative musician and a sound healer. He is at ease working with ancient wisdom elders and collaborating with musicians  in international yoga/music festivals. He also regularly presents scientific/scholarly papers at health and medical conferences.. He has travelled to more than 100 countries, spreading goodness of gongs and sonic-energy. He has been teaching sound and gong healing since 2009 and also leads an international sound healing academy,

His journey into sound healing began after a successful career in business and academia, including studies at IE Business School. Madrid and London Business School.Over time, Sanj shifted focus working with many spiritual masters in exploring the profound effects of sound and further into kriya and nada yoga, ayurveda, NLP, Silva method, TA, T group training et al. He also studied Mind-Body medicine at Harvard Medical School and courses at Berklee on Music therapy. He is also on the Board of Indian Music Therapy Association.


Pricing and General Information

The workshop will commence at 9:15 AM on Saturday, October 19th, and concludes by 6 PM on Sunday, October 20th, at the beautiful Zorba the Buddha, at Delhi having the address : No.7, Tropical Dr, Ghitorni, New Delhi 110030

Participants will enjoy wholesome vegetarian sattvic meals for lunch on both days along with tea breaks.

The all-inclusive fee for the weekend workshop is Rs. 19,500. However, if you register before October 7th, you can benefit from a Rs. 1,500 discount, reducing the total fee to Rs. 18,000.

Yes, this course is open to individuals of all skill levels. The only prerequisites are an interest in music and a willingness to learn
Yes, participants who attend and complete the weekend workshop on fundamentals in Sound Therapy will receive a certificate from Sarveda.
Over the course of the weekend, Lunch, tea and snacks are included. If you’d like to carry some food along with, you can but our only request would be to go light and avoid unhealthy food so you're active and energetic for the duration of the workshop
Bringing your own instruments isn’t required for this course, as its focus is on introducing you to the world of sound therapy. However, if you have any unique instruments you’d like to share, feel free to bring them. Additionally, you’re welcome to bring a drum or any percussion instruments for the drum circle we’ll have after the course concludes on Sunday!

Yes, you can avail a waiver of INR 1,500 on the total amount making it 18,000INR instead of 19,500INR if you register before the 7th of October
In case you can let us know that you will not be able to make it 2 weeks before, we can refund 90% of the amount. In case you let us know a week before, we will refund 75% of the amount and in case you let us know on the day or after the event is over, we will refund 50% of the amount.
